My name is Michelle Rawlings, and I’m a freelance writer and copyeditor with a background in local journalism and digital marketing. I started my freelance career while pursuing a B.A. in English from Shenandoah University, where I served as editor in chief of the student newspaper before graduating summa cum laude in 2017.
As a writer, I’ve covered political news for national audiences and contributed to a number of blogs on college life and career development. Most recently, my freelance work has consisted largely of PR ghostwriting and copyediting gigs.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband of two years and our border collie, Dakota.
